Dr. Jeffrey Okamitsu is a business and innovation leader with experience that makes him a unique, valuable resource at NIITEK, Inc. As Chief Technology Officer at NIITEK, Dr. Okamitsu’s responsibilities range from leadership over new product and technology innovation, to development of new markets and applications, to corporate strategy building.

Dr. Jeffrey Okamitsu possesses a background that has provided him with over 20 years of leadership experience at a variety of high-technology companies. Dr. Okamitsu holds a PhD in Physics from Columbia University and an Executive MBA from Temple University, as well as graduate training in Product Development from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland. Some of Dr. Okamitsu’s past positions include Vice President of Engineering at OPEX Corporation, Vice President of Technology at Fusion UV Systems, Inc., and Vice President of Business Development at Automated Precision, Inc.

His abilities to identify viable concepts, strategize a successful plan for innovative product development, and foster profitable market placement make Dr. Jeffrey Okamitsu stand apart from others in his field. Dr. Okamitsu consistently exhibits exceptional business acumen that complements his extensive hands-on experience developing the technologies and products that earned him several U.S. patents for ideas such as a radio frequency-driven ultraviolet lamp, methods for curing polymers, and an apparatus for evenly distributing light and radiation onto curved surfaces.

In addition to a successful business career, Dr. Jeffrey Okamitsu has many achievements within academia. He was a Research Associate and Lecturer at Princeton University Department of Physics. At Princeton, Dr. Jeffrey Okamitsu not only taught physics, but also carried out research in high-energy physics, helping establish a fundamental understanding of the universe.
