Before establishing herself as an expert in creating integrated marketing and communication programs, Jennifer Quermann studied political science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. During this time, she spent a semester living and studying in Spain. Following receipt of her degree, Jennifer Quermann returned to Spain, where she worked as a counselor for several months, and served in the United States as a member of multiple political campaigns.

Early in her career, Jennifer Quermann accepted a position as an account executive in the Brand Marketing and Food/Nutrition Groups at Porter Novelli. There, she planned and executed national public relations campaigns for such clients as Frito-Lay International, the International Bottled Water Association, and the National Cheese Institute.

Jennifer Quermann continued to draw on her experience in the food industry in subsequent roles with Ketchum Inc. and Torme Lauricella Public Relations. At the former, she guided campaigns and programs for the California Prune Board, and at the latter, she created strategic communications plans for C&H Sugar Company and the Walnut Marketing Board. More recently, as a senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard (FH), Ms. Quermann oversaw the account of Mars, Incorporated, as it conducted scientific research into cocoa. For eight years at FH she managed one of the most successful health campaigns for the Department of Defense.

A member of marketing teams that have won more than 20 awards, Jennifer Quermann also has worked with health care organizations, nonprofits, government agencies, associations and a range of other entities. She currently serves as managing senior partner at SP Consulting, where she manages staff members and oversees the communications of a number of clients.
