J. B. Wind was born in 1973 in Leoben and lives in the south of Vienna in Austria.

She writes novels for young people and adults (Thrillers, Crime-Stories, Fantasy stories, Mystery stories) Screenplays, plays, reviews and short texts. She has had numerous publications of short stories, reviews and poems in literature magazines, newspapers, anthologies and magazines;

She is a member of the Murder Sisters, the Austrian Crime Writers, the Austrian Female Crime Writers, Cultural Network Lower Austria, IG Authors;

•1st place with the totenschmaus short-crime competition 2013

•1st place with the zeilen-lauf literature competition 2011

•2nd place with the broilerbar crime-short-story competition 2010
