OTEC technology generates continuous, 24/7, base-load energy without the use of fossil fuels by harnessing ocean energy. The surface water of the ocean stores solar energy while deep ocean water hovers around freezing. By utilizing the temperature differential between the warm and cold ocean water, an OTEC system can generate electricity 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Previously, Jeremy Feakins spent 15 years as Founder and CEO of Medical Technology & Innovations where he built a medical device company from concept to market by developing a first-to-market microprocessor-based vision screening device designed to identify serious eye problems in young children. Jeremy and his team members addressed all research, development and marketing activities through to national recognition. They established the manufacturing facility, production, and worldwide distribution.

For over 30 years, Jeremy Feakins has focused on projects that have a positive impact on the world. One of the main motivations behind OTE is improving the lives of people across the globe by reducing the need for fossil fuels and providing water to countries parched by climate change.
