Jericho Terrace

Mineola, NY

From the koi pond in its spacious tiled lobby, to the numerous cocktail and dining rooms and bridal suites, to the meticulously appointed outdoor gardens replete with fountains and footbridges, Jericho Terrace is an ideal location and an elegant occasion. Thriving under its current management for nearly 35 years, the event hall is an institution in its hometown of Mineola, New York. Named Jericho Terrace by owner Nicholas Leone when he greatly expanded the facility in 1984, it continues the tradition he established of superior food cooked to perfection by highly trained professionals, served by an attentive staff, in an atmosphere of polished elegance.

Couples and families from all over Long Island and throughout the tri-state area turn to Jericho Terrace for their engagement, wedding, anniversary, and birthday celebrations. The hall hosts its Bridal Showcase once a year in January, which gives couples and wedding planners the opportunity to review trends, themes, and options on-site. Businesses book the facilities for their holiday and mid-summer celebrations, and smaller businesses take advantage of Jericho Terrace’s Small Office Big Holiday Party, held on two separate evenings in December. Selections are available from the expansive menu, which includes hot and cold hors d’ouevres, salads, a broad assortment of pasta, as well as numerous entrees. The big event of Jericho Terrace’s season is the annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, which features a host of hot and cold appetizers, a surf and turf entrée, an open bar featuring premium brand liquors, a midnight champagne toast, and entertainment and dancing from 7:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m.

The tradition that Nicholas Leone established was based on more than a decade spent learning every aspect of the hospitality business from the inside out. When the time was right, he bought a catering hall in the early 1970s, and in 1978 he bought Jericho Manor, which became Jericho Terrace in 1984. Now run by his son Chris Leone, Jericho Terrace continues Nicholas Leone’s tradition of excellence.
