Jerry Kafieh

I’m Jerry Kafieh (Hon BSc, PfMP, PMP, DASSM, ITIL), a project management leader, educator, and humanitarian based in Ontario, Canada. For over 25 years, I’ve worked across industries helping organizations deliver meaningful change through structure, strategy, and people-focused leadership. As Director of NewTech Horizons Inc., I specialize in building project management offices, leading complex portfolios, and guiding teams through transformation. My approach has always been grounded in collaboration, clarity, and the belief that great results come from developing great people.

I’ve also spent more than two decades teaching at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Chang School of Continuing Education, where I share real-world lessons in project, program, and portfolio management. Teaching keeps me sharp—it’s a constant reminder that leadership is about listening, learning, and serving others.

Beyond work, I’m deeply committed to community service. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank and have volunteered as a Site Manager with the Canadian Red Cross, helping during crises such as COVID-19 and Hurricane Fiona.

Whether in the classroom, the boardroom, or the community, I believe leadership is something you earn daily—through empathy, consistency, and the simple act of showing up when it matters most.
