Jesus Villasmil , born in Maracaibo , Venezuela , on September 1, 1977 ; musician guitarist. He develop His interest in music early, while still a teenager. Influenced by great guitarists like Vinnie Moore, Frank Gambale , Steve Morse, Kee Marcello , Marty Friedman, Cheo Villasmil , among others. His beginnings as a professional were in one of the most important genres of Venezuelan folklore, Gaita , experience that allowed him to grow and achieve excellence needed in order to then experiment with other genres. Henceforth start an entire musical journey, being known in the musical environment with the nickname "The Mask" . He has participated in recordings and live performances by a number of groups and national and international artists such as Voz Veis , Caibo , Los Pelaos , Jamboree, Tensión Libre , Agape, Vocal Song, Carángano , El Cartel , Maragaita , Galenos , We are , Amparito , San Luis , Ronald Borjas , Jorge Luis Chacin , Flyers , Robert Vilera productions, Carlos Puchi productions, Chino y Nacho , Ilan Chester , Frank Quintero, Servando y Florentino , Pitingo , Luis Enrique , among others. Academically he earned a degree in Customs Administration at the University Institute of Technology Pedro Emilio Coll , an area that was obviously completely neglected by his musical passion. It currently has undergraduate studies in music at the Catholic University Cecilio Acosta. He has also participated in workshops of great Venezuelan guitarists Ruben Rebolledo , Carmelo Medina , Eddy Perez. Among its other facets is teaching as a professor in the department of electrical and acoustic Guitar World Music Academy in the city of Maracaibo-Venezuela.
