Ji Liu

Ji Liu is a soon-to-be alumnus from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduation, he will pursue a career path in M&A in the private equity space. Between now and then, Ji will be working on his academic research, business ventures and travelling to various emerging and frontier markets.

Ji currently finished as the first fall analyst in the mergers and acquisitions group at PGI.

• Pursued 5 major deals across commodities, hedge funds, fixed income, Emerging Market and Frontier Market.
• 2 deals in closing stages.

While in college, Ji did some cool stuff:

• Chaired, Advised and Member of the UW-Madison Student Segregated Fees Committee. Dispersing over $400 Million across various student extracurriculars, organizations and investments.
• Founding Owner-Investor in various start-up's in emerging and frontier markets.
• Various Industry Experiences around the world (Principal/ Portel /World Company/CCB in New York City/ Hong Kong/Singapore/Estonia/Budapest/Bangkok/Madison)

Studied abroad in three royal institutions in China, Hungary and Thailand

Trekked around 15+ countries in Europe, across China: Harbin to Lhasa and across Southeast Asia: Shan, Myanmar to Sulawesi, Indonesia.
