Ji-Sun Kim

* I am a seasoned CS (computer science) professional with 15 years of software developmentexperience and HCI (human-computer interaction) researcher with 10 years of hands-on andtheoretical experience. The experience during the overlap period empowered me with extensiveexperience and broad understanding of technical innovation in sensing, perception, andinteraction. My past and current experience includes building back-end and front-end applications,development of gestural interaction techniques, user studies and evaluations, and development of prototype systems.

* My current work includes large points cloud (LiDAR) data processing and analysis using machine learning models leveraging Hadoop ecosystem, leading a user study to improve design of Web-based DMV tool using SMI eye tracker, leading an android application of network speed test showing the advertised broadband speed data on a map.
