Jill Cook Los Alamos

The recipient of a bachelor's degree in business administration and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Jill Cook spent the first 25 years of her career in banking. Based in Los Alamos, New Mexico, she has served in various capacities for Homewise, a non profit corporation, since 2013. Jill Cook joined the company as deputy director responsible for overseeing home buyer counseling and training as well as human resources and mortgage lending functions. She later held the role of chief operating officer and presently serves as manager of human resources and operational effectiveness.

In addition to her business education, Ms. Cook completed an auctioneer program at the World Wide College of Auctioneering and leverages that education to work on behalf of nonprofit organizations. Since obtaining certification in 2007, she has conducted live auctions for more than 75 Northern New Mexico-based nonprofits, including the United Way of Northern New Mexico, YMCA of Los Alamos, and the New Mexico Museum of Natural History. She is also a member of 100+Women Who Care. In her free time, enjoys playing golf, biking, and traveling.
