Mr. Jody R. South of American Systems is employed as a Senior Analyst for technology test & evaluation initiatives that include: Sensors (e.g. RADAR, EO/IR), Net Enabled Weapon (NEW) systems, Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, and Humanitarian Assistance / Disaster Relief (HA/DR) Websites (e.g. All Partners Access Network (APAN). He is also an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Procurement agent. His specialties include Program Analysis & Reporting, Independent Assessments, Proposal Writing, and Business Development. Mr. South hails from a small town in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York on the Canadian border. He served in the U.S. Navy as an Operations Specialist onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) based in Norfolk, VA. Following his tour in the Navy, he went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in Information Technology at Old Dominion University, graduating Cum Laude in the Fall of 2008. He is a member of Technology Hampton Roads Council, the Hampton Roads Defense & Homeland Security Consortium, the Virginia Technology Alliance, Military Alliance Group (MAG), Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, and the the Old Dominion University Alumni Association.

Mr. South Currently lives in Suffolk, VA with his wife Julie who works in the Mental Health field as a Case Manager II for the Western Tidewater Community Services Board NPO.
