John Piper
John Piper
John Piper is a suspense writer with a dark side. The three books published so far explore the sinister side of life and its kinky edge. A further book will follow soon.
His subjects include, but are not limited to, prostitution, kidnapping, people trafficking, forced gender change, transvestism, domination and cannibalism. Both Claude's Journey and La Crème de la Crem are murder suspense stories but they use both the reader's revulsion and fascination with these various categories to add to the suspense of the chase!
These stories are not sexual titillation, although there is some of that. The psychological aspects of the characters' experiences are particularly explored - in some detail in the case of Claude.
Hibernia Unanimis is a political thriller set ten years in the future. It deals with a main character who displays some very serious mental symptoms. He negotiates by way of terrorism to seek to achieve his goal of becoming a dictator.
All characters are fictitious, but based on people the writer has known over the years. Historical references are carefully researched to ensure their voracity.
John is very well traveled and his life experiences enhance the pictures he paints with his words, with respect to places and events, but particularly regarding experiences.
The next book has a scientific leaning, set in a chemical laboratory.
