A former firefighter in New York City, John Colombi brings more than three decades of diverse experience to his current position as a lacrosse coach in Colorado. Currently, he guides three lacrosse teams in the Denver area, including the Warriors Lacrosse and Doco Lacrosse club teams in Highlands Ranch. John Colombi also serves as the junior varsity head coach for the lacrosse team at Rock Canyon High School.

John Colombi attended Nassau Community College before embarking on his career. He then spent a decade as a firefighter in New York City, during which time he earned awards such as the Fire Bell Club Medal of Honor, the Firefighters Quarterly Bravest Award, and a special commendation from FDNY. Previously, he gained experience in logistics and management as a warehouse manager for C&K Distributors and K-9 Caterers in Glendale, New York.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Colombi belongs to community organizations such as the Holy Name Society and the Columbia Association, and previously served in a leadership role with his local homeowners' association. During his free time, he enjoys camping with his family.
