John Dorer

Marketing firm president and University of South Florida graduate John Dorer has various interests outside of his industry, most notably a keen interest in tennis and jazz. The tennis enthusiast is a fan of two world-class tennis greats, Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus and Novak Djokovic of Serbia. One of John Dorer's favorite tennis books is Andre Agassi's autobiography Open. His racquet of choice is the Microgel Extreme Mid Plus, using the Lobster Elite Three Ball Machine to train. John Dorer's favorite places to play include Central Park, Midtown Tennis Club, Binghamton Racquet Club, and Riverbank State Park. An enthusiastic jazz music fan, John Dorer prefers the works of self-taught drummer Dennis Chambers, drummer and composer Eric Harland, and pianist Jason Moran. While Chambers is a legend, Harland and Moran are known as the future of modern jazz. Chambers has played with many well-known acts, including Parliament/Funkadelic, Steely Dan, and Santana. John Dorer's favorite song is The Hockey Theme by Canadian musician and actor Neal Peart. John Dorer, President of AIVK, Inc since 2000, specializes in business and marketing consulting, continuing his education by reading marketing books on new media. Two of John Dorer's favorite books on this topic include Web Marketing All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies and Constant Contact Guide to Email Marketing. John Dorer also is a student of technical analysis, a finance term for the study of predicting prices with previous market data, a field led by researchers Rob Hanna, Corey Rosenbloom, and Scott Andrew.
