John Finneran

An independent startup consultant since 2007, John Finneran offers a range of marketing and sales advisory services from his office in Easton, Connecticut. Before establishing himself as a consultant, he served a year as director of mass market and private label sales with ISI Brands in New York City. This position placed John Finneran in charge of creating and implementing sales and marketing campaigns for a range of new products, as well as serving as category captain for a premium vitamin brand for Target.

Prior to his time at ISI Brands, Mr. Finneran spent 15 years serving as a marketing manger with Unilever Home and Personal Care in Greenwich, Connecticut. Over this period of time, he also worked extensively for the Unilever subsidiaries Chesebrough-Pond’s and the Lever Brothers Company.

Mr. Finneran got his professional start as a sales representative with the New York City offices of WestPoint Pepperell. His responsibilities with this fashion and core home textile company revolved around the management of a 25-person broker sales force that promoted the Martex and Lady Pepperell brands throughout Europe and the Far East.
