John Kang WebMD

In his 30 years as an investor and businessman, John Kang has gained expertise in technology, manufacturing, and distribution ventures. He is also an investor in startups and established companies, and has raised capital through private and public markets to support companies to implement their business plans.

In 2000, the company he led, Medical Manager Corporation, was acquired by WebMD and is now known as Emdeon Corp. After his tenure as president of Medical Manager Corporation, he focused on his task as chairman of Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. from 2000 to 2010. At present, he is the chairman of LM Group Holdings, Inc. The company has established a strategic alliance aimed at bringing an innovative technology used for plastics and composites for the manufacturing of amorphous metals.
