Attorney John Poulos, is the former managing partner at the Sacramento law offices of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP. A former member of the litigation practice group, he concentrated mainly in the areas of construction and environmental disputes, as well as complex real estate litigation. John Poulos was rated a “Super Lawyer” by the nationally recognized rating service in the years 2005, 2011, and 2012 and is listed in the 2013 edition of Best Lawyers in America for construction law. A 1987 graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, with a degree in Economics, John Poulos went on to earn his JD in 1991 from the University of California at Berkeley. Subsequently, he was a law clerk to several Justices, among them Edmund Burke, Alexander Bryner, and Robert Eastaugh of the Alaska Supreme Court. Mr. Poulos is a trial lawyer at both state and federal levels and is admitted to practice in the states of California, Alaska, Oregon and Colorado.
