John Wertsching

Arizona resident John Wertsching engages in a number of activities outside of work that allow him to unwind and exercise. As a participant in the Arizona Bicycle Club, for instance, Wertsching rides with other cyclists on short and long treks throughout metropolitan Phoenix; the rides are often accompanied by a social breakfast. John Wertsching also remains an avid supporter of area sports teams, including the Diamondbacks, Cardinals, and Suns. His other hobbies include completing home renovations and repairs, watching movies, and collecting coins.

John Wertsching completed his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, where he obtained a bachelor of science in sociology in the early 1980s. Years later, he returned to school and enrolled in Northern Arizona University for has master's degree in education. Committed to giving back to others, he contributes some of his resources to American Diabetes Association; American Lung Association; Juvenile Diabetes Association; and The Hunter School, a New Hampshire-based facility that caters to children who have Asperger syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and other conditions.
