Jon Brouse
I'm a DevOps engineer @ZonoffInc I read in a job description once that said something along the lines of "were you DevOps before there was DevOps?" I'd like to think so. I am empathetic and practice commitment not compliance.
I give a shit about my job enough to not pass the buck. I give a shit about my job enough to want to learn all the parts and not just my little world. (Thank you John E. Vincent)
Why do I do this? For the user/customer. That may be a user with dozens of smart devices or the developers and QA people in my cross functional team. At the end of the day it's about the feedback we receive from a most viable product. I do this so I can be constantly improving myself, my team and their tools and in turn our product.
We are all DevOps.
