Jon Creighton

Jon Creighton is the Head of Information Technology Operations at SVB Financial Group, the holding company for worldwide banking leader Silicon Valley Bank, which operates 34 locations in the United States, United Kingdom, India, China, and Israel. Mr. Creighton's responsibilities include the management of data centers, the Infrastructure Operations group, and the Network Operations Center team as well as the provisioning of secure, consistent, well-integrated solutions in all IT Operations functions. Jon Creighton started with SVB in 2010 as Director of IT Operations.

Prior to joining SVB Financial Group in 2010, Jon Creighton was with Netflix as the Manager of IT Operations Infrastructure Support. His responsibilities in this position included all production code pushes, monitoring of all customer-facing production services at Netflix, and management of a team of operations engineers and senior infrastructure services developers. For over 8 years before joining Netflix, Mr. Creighton held positions at Adobe Systems, Inc., in roles of increasing responsibility from a senior engineering role in the Engineering Services Group to Management of the NOCs, Global Monitoring, and SAP Support. Prior to joining Adobe Systems, Inc., Jon Creighton was Director of Technical Support at Wave Technologies International. In his time at Wave, Mr. Creighton was also the Product Manager for the Online Learning product line.

Before beginning his IT career, Jon Creighton served as a Sergeant in the United States Army, which led him to work as the campus Veterans Affairs representative while attending Drury University. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, pursuing activities such as travel, diving, hiking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and wine tasting.
