I believe in passion, hard work, and family. Passion drives me to follow my dreams, and hard work makes them become a reality. And family, for me, is more than just my parents or siblings, but a much wider circle of those I care about and that care for me, and those that together we’ll help make the world a better place.

My passion for entrepreneurship led me to start an e-commerce business at 18. The experience of owning a business at a young age was extremely influential. It taught me about hard work, focus, and working smarter. Later, while studying Computer Science in college, I started the Society for Business and Entrepreneurship to help teach these principals.

In 1½ years I received 3 Associate Degrees (4.0 GPA), was 1 of 8 of 70k+ students to complete the honors curriculum, completed 3 internships, and was the president of 3 student organizations at NVCC. I was elected Who's Who in American Universities, and honored with the NOVA SEAL Award. Then, looking toward California for it’s strong entrepreneurial culture, I enrolled in USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering where I finished my bachelors in CS focusing on Artificial Intelligence. I'm currently studying Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University.

I’ve worked as a software engineer at Branch International, Human Dx, Graphiq (Acquired by Amazon), IBM, and Velocloud Networks (acquired by Cisco). I’ve also been a part of an array of entrepreneurial endeavors as CTO of the DailyDeed (DC-based startup), Founder of GiftsForAllKids.com (non-profit), Data Guru for RydeBikes (USC startup), and technical cofounder of Xavier (thought-to-text software). Most recently I worked as the Director of Engineering at Catalog, a platform for creative content. I now work as a software engineer at Facebook.

I enjoy traveling, sailing, motorcycle riding, and mountain climbing. StartingBloc Fellow, CGIU Fellow
