Growing Up
"What do you want to be when you "grow up" and why?"
Well first off, what don't I want to be. Everything, to me is fascinating. What I'm leaning towards is a job as a practicing chiropractor. I think it's awesome to help people and being a chiropractor would allow me to do so.
WSU Tidbits
"Where is your favorite place to study?"
I would defintely say Owen Science and Engineering Library. It's so quiet and peaceful there. It's also cool because no one is hardly there.
"What is your fondest WSU memory thus far?"
My freshmen year here I went to a Mac Miller concert and it got pretty crazy. I was front row and I was dancing like no other. It was a blast!
"What Advice do you have for new students?"
Get to know your professors. They are human and will help you whever you need help.
GO TO CLASS! This may sound simple, but some students may think that missing one day of class won't hurt, which is wrong. First, you lose money that you paid for, for that class and you lose the knowledge you could have gained.
Have an eating, sleeping, and exercise schedule . It just makes life easier. It also gives you tons of extra energy to follow a regular schedule.
WSU has a ton of extra curricular activities that you can do. Don't think that people are going to pressure you to party. Enjoy yourself and do what you think you'd love!
"What advice do you have for new Cougar parents?"
Let go. It may seem hard at first, but you raised your little birdy right and its time to let them spread their wings and venture out into the real world.
Keep in touch, but don't become overwhelming.
Send money or carepackages because dining hall food gets boring.
