Born on 25 February 1970 in Ahmednagar, India, Jose GILL is a seasoned technocrat, entrepreneur, and medical diagnostics business consultant with more than three decades of experience in Clinical and Medical Diagnostics (MDx).

As the Founder of McGill Ventures, Inc., established in April 2019, he provides specialized business consulting services to global clients in the medical diagnostics industry. His expertise spans strategic business development, market entry, product management, marketing, distribution, and commercial operations. He advises renowned international companies seeking to establish and expand their presence in the Indian Medical Diagnostics Market and other global markets.

Education

Jose completed his primary education at Sacred Heart Convent High School in Ahmednagar, followed by his secondary and college education in Pune. He graduated in Science from Government Science College, Jabalpur, in 1989 and completed his Post-Graduation in Biosciences from R.D. Vishwakarma University (RDVV), Jabalpur, in 1991.

Professional Journey

Jose began his professional career in 1992 as a Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) at Jabalpur Medical Centre, working with Capt. (Retd.) Sunil Sharma. In 1993, he entered the Medical Diagnostics industry with Span Diagnostics Ltd., Surat, one of India's leading diagnostic manufacturing companies, now known as ARKRAY Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. He was part of the Product Management Team, marking the beginning of his long-standing association with Clinical Diagnostics.

In 1995, he joined Cadila Healthcare and had the privilege of naming and launching its Diagnostic Division for Zydus/Cadila Healthcare Ltd. in Gujarat.

Since 1998, Chennai has been his base as an entrepreneur, where he has continued to build and lead businesses across the Medical Diagnostics sector.

Over the years, Jose has founded, promoted, and led several organizations in the Clinical Diagnostics and Medical Devices industry:

• McGill Ventures, Inc. — Founder; established in April 2019, providing specialized business consulting services in Medical Diagnostics (MDx) to global clients.
• Peerless Biotech Pvt. Ltd. — Founder & Managing Director, established in 2001, specializing in the import, marketing, and distribution of Clinical Diagnostic Kits & Reagents.
• Quantum Biologicals Pvt. Ltd. — Promoter Director; formerly established as DiaSys India Pvt. Ltd. in 2001, a joint venture with DiaSys GmbH. The company was acquired by Nicholas Piramal in 2006.
• Euro Diagnostic Systems Pvt. Ltd. — Promoter Director of this Medical Diagnostics company since 2003.
• labONE, Inc. — Founder & CEO, established in 2009, focused on manufacturing Clinical Laboratory Equipment.
• VivaChek LifeCare Private Limited — Founder & Managing Director of the joint venture company with VivaChek Biotech (Hangzhou) Co. Ltd., headquartered in the USA, specializing in Blood Glucose Monitoring Products.
