Jose-Carlos Ramos, PhD has a hybrid profile as business manager and as educator. He is currently linked to the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) as Lecturer Professor and researcher in the Business and Economic studies.

He also holds a position as Coordinator at the Science and Research Hub of the International Federation of the Economy for the Common Good (IFECG).

Member of the Executive Committee at the World Capital Institute (WCI).

Full Member of the New Club of Paris (NCP).

Professional experience

He was Postgraduate School’s Director at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona (IED).

Before he was CEO at the Institute for Careers and Innovation in Supply Chain and Innovation (ICIL).

As an entrepreneur he founded and held the Executive Chairman position at FOREVER US, an industrial company.

He was Partner at Avanzalis Management, an advising firm specialized in business strategy.

He began his career at IBM, as Engineer and consultant, having some residencies in the USA.

Academic activity

He is fellow at ESADE Business School and collaborates with other educational institutions such as UPF, UB, IED and CEU University.
