Joseph Eulo is an independent writer, producer, and director working and studying in the Greater New York City Area. Joseph earned an Associate in Arts degree in Psychology from Union County College earning high honors in 2010, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the New School for Public Engagement in 2013 with a 3.94 GPA and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Film Production.

Joseph’s aspires to make a difference in the lives of others through film, video, and community arts projects, which bring awareness to contemporary cultural and socioeconomic issues facing our society. He enjoys collaborating with other artists who share his interest in creating stories that entertain and educate.

In 2010 he founded the New School Student Film Collective, an organization committed to fostering community among filmmakers within the college community. In 2012 he created the Garden State Filmmakers Association, and the Indie Film Collective of Greater NYC. Organizations dedicated to creating and encouraging community among filmmakers, actors, and artists.

Joseph is actively working with other artist in launching a non-profit organization that teaches at-risk youth the craft and art of filmmaking. Its mission is to provide young people with an alternative means of creative self-expression, a medium to develop a personal narrative, and ultimately a forum to give voice to their hopes, their fears, and their dreams.

Joseph commitment to community is evident in his collaboration and work with the Creatively Speaking Film Series, a monthly-curated film series that serves as a diverse forum highlighting independent film by and/or about people of color. He worked closely with Michelle Materre, Creatively Speaking’s founder and curator, in documenting its events, and redesigning their website to reflect its mission, promote its films, and keep the community informed and engaged.

In 2013, Joseph launched First Frame Films, and IndieFILMsites.com, a production/design company based in Brooklyn NY, made up of independent writers, producers, directors, actors, and other artist who share a passion in creating meaningful work that move, entertain, and educate its audience. Both ventures provided independent filmmakers pre/post production marketing and design services, and offer affordable self-promotional materials to the acting community.
