An avid "Protector Of The Brand", Joseph Jackson has established himself as a premiere Media & Marketing Professional.
While only a senior in High School Joseph was promoted to a top leadership position at Unity in the Community, a non-profit organization that strived to give young adults positives alternatives to negative behavior. Joseph was chairman over several committees including Unity’s annual Youth Conference and Positive Prom. Not only did Joseph play an active roll in the boardroom, but he also displayed his creative abilities while promoting and hosting many events.
Prior to attending Madison Media Institute for broadcasting, Joseph was a founding member of Blood Related Outreach, an independent entertainment group that wrote, produced and performed positive and inspirational music and stage plays. During his time with Blood Related Outreach, he developed promotional campaigns that penetrated the core of communities in turmoil and despair. In light of the success of these campaigns Blood Related partnered with former gang leader turned community activist Nicky Cruz and his organization Nicky Cruz Outreach. This partnership proved to be an unstoppable force bringing positive change to communities throughout the United States, using commercials, stage plays, live performances, and door to door campaigning.
An Alumnus of Howard University's John H. Johnson School of Communications, Mr. Jackson excelled and exceeded expectations as Promotions Director of WHBC Howard Radio. During his tenure he created & developed several groundbreaking events including Howard's Hottest, the ultimate artist, producer & DJ showcase. Dubbed as the "Promo Monster", through his innovation and creative flare, Jackson turned a struggling radio station into a major media force that is now heard around the globe via 96.3 HD3.
During his time as a BET College Marketing Representative, he contributed to record breaking ratings of multiple shows on the network through creative social media campaigns and on campus fan interactive contests and giveaways.
He continued to achieve remarkable accomplishments as a Def Jam College & Lifestyle Marketing Representative bringing some of music's biggest names like Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Janelle Monae, J Cole and Raheem Devaughn to Howard University. He also coordinated many on-air phone interviews for artist including Young Dro.
