A respected presence in the Guam and Saipan business community, Juan Carlos Benitez has led the Washington Pacific Economic Development Group, LLC (WPEDG), as president since 2003. He focuses on untap federal funding opportunities that promote development. Through WPEDG, Juan Carlos Benitez assisted Catholic Social Services secure a $100,000 grant for its handicap residential location move.

He also has facilitated a number of Saipan Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects and worked with DoCoMo Pacific in its installation of a fiber optic cable underwater between the Northern Marianas and Guam. This ambitious project will provide state-of-the art communications throughout the U.S. Pacific territories.

Mr. Benitez served as the Trump Campaign’s Guam and Northern Mariana Islands contact point in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections. He also held a position on the Trump Campaign National Hispanic Advisory Council. A native of Puerto Rico, he assisted in nationwide outreach efforts with special emphasis in Florida.
