Judi Lytle

Campobello, South Carolina

Judi Lytle has been raising and training dogs for more than 50 years, winning customers in the United States and around the world. As part of her work, she often travels to countries as distant as Korea, Greece, and Russia to hand-deliver puppies. In addition to her willingness to travel, Ms. Lytle takes great pains to match the right dog to the right family and offers ongoing support for the families who adopt pets from her. Because of this commitment and her knack for raising sweet, lovable, and intelligent animals, Judi Lytle has earned a loyal following, sometimes serving repeat customers after as long as 15 years. Today, she offers both Bichon Frisés and standard poodles to loving families.

In addition to breeding dogs as family pets, Judi Lytle places them with people who work with them as service animals, as well as with children who have autism. Ms. Lytle also supports a number of charities through her work. By donating her puppies to various live auctions, she has helped raise thousands of dollars for the American Red Cross, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the March of Dimes.

Though her love of dogs runs deep, Judi Lytle also maintains several hobbies. For the last 25 years, she has indulged her love of real estate and home design to buy, renovate, and even build houses. Ms. Lytle's work has included completely rebuilding and redecorating homes to match her vision for them. Often, that vision includes open floor plans and plentiful natural light. At present, she is working on a single-level guest cottage on her primary property to live in when she retires.

Residing in Campobello,South Carolina, Judi Lytle has been married for 40 years. She and her husband have five children and 10 grandchildren. As she reduces her work hours in the coming years, Ms. Lytle looks forward to traveling the world.
