Jude Hess, owner of Jude Hess Fine Arts, has facilitated collection development for 20 years. She began managing a contemporary art collection in 1995, shortly after receiving her dual bachelor's degree in finance and international business from New York University. With this background, Judith Hess has gone on to a number of high-level positions, including private client director and contemporary art specialist at the Phillips Auction House. In this position, she facilitated both auctions and private sales while providing advice to collectors on a variety of purchase, sale, and loan transactions.

In 2011, Jude Hess began drawing on her international business background as international business development director for the chairman's office at Christie's. For close to three years, she served as an intermediary and manager for the company's high net worth collectors. Also experienced in selling and consigning through Christie's Auctions, she now leverages her knowledge of art auctions as an advisor to independent collectors.

In addition, Judith Hess offers curating, sourcing, and transaction advisory services as well as confidential management of collections. She maintains an up-to-date knowledge of shipping, insurance, and other logistical concerns relevant to the collector, and is experienced in valuation and finance. In August of 2015, she opened the US entity of Jude Hess Fine Arts in NYC.
