My interest in photography began with a Brownie camera, while I was in the Girl Scouts, but did not really blossom until about 10 years ago. At that time, my two sons were old enough for me to have more time on my own, plus I had reconnected with an old friend who was also interested in photography. My friend helped motive me and bring me up to speed with the digital age. As my interest grew, I realized I was quite artistic and found I enjoyed the creative side of photography, using photo shop, just as much as capturing an image. I love photographing anything that captures my attention, but Route 66 has proven a consistant passion. I have traveled every mile of it, that I could find anyway, and have always been able to find something new to keep me interested and motivated. Photography has been good to me in many deeply personal ways, but, though I am published and a professional, I have not been able to work since dealing with health issues. I am now, however, very happy to be back behind my camera! Whether or not I attempt the professional route again remains to be seen. At the present time I am just delighted to be photographing and more active on BetterPhoto.com once again. I thoroughly enjoy creating and entering images in their monthy contests. I will never tire of seeing "Editor's Pick" under one of my entries and it continues to be such a thrill! Thank you for your interest and please take a few minutes to visit my website, the link is below, at your earliest convenience. Don't forget to leave a comment or two so I can send you a personal THANK YOU! Your Friend, JudyAnn
