Julie M. Davis

Norman, Oklahoma, United States

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Studies at the University of Oklahoma and expect to graduate in spring 2016. My primary research areas are philosophy of education, women's and gender studies, feminist bioethics, and autobiographical studies. My dissertation focuses on women's reproductive cancer memoirs, specifically looking at what women learn as patients in the healthcare system. I earned a master’s degree in Liberal Studies in the College of Liberal Studies at the University of Oklahoma, and as a proud alumna, I teach online humanities classes for OU-CLS.
