Junior Jones MA

After a career performing as a professional dancer I founded an organisation that delivered dance workshops into school. Titled Wise Moves Dance Ltd, I devised, sold and delivered workshops into schools as well as Identifying teacher’s needs and reviewing government education policy to develop new cultural products for education. This role enabled me to strategically plan and implement new services to the education market. I have an entrepreneurial attitude and am an extremely ambitious individual who takes pride in work I do. As a positive tenacious individual I believe in working hard to achieve results. This has been confirmed by the fact that I have recently been awarded a Masters of Arts in Cultural Policy and Management at City University in London.

I enjoy working as part of a team, and as well as being flexible, I enjoy contributing ideas to solve problems. I therefore look forward to confronting challenges head on. Quality of work is important to me therefore I see that attention to detail is an important factor. I enjoy social interaction and therefore enjoy the opportunity to communicate with people from different nationalities and social backgrounds.

I have worked with many organisations delivering dance across the south which include Creative Partnerships, Hampshire Wildlife Trust and Winchester City Council. Culture is my passion as I see it provides opportunities for young people and communities to bond and grow. These are important components in our society. With my years of knowledge and experience of education outreach and my entrepreneurial approach, I am passionate about working with organisations to provide dance experiences for young people and communities.
