Andre AJ Carter is the Founder of Building U Ministries. Building U Ministries is dedicated to the success and reeducation of the black community, by opening young minds to the possibility, that you too are capable of greatness. Building U is about building a better YOU for an even better tomorrow.

Andre AJ Carter was born in Park Slope, Bklyn in 1965. He grew up in Jamaica, Queens, NY, during the ’70s and ’80s. Andre has lost friends to gun violence as young as 10. Despite a rather rough upbringing, Andre AJ Carter has been in classes for Intellectually Gifted Children starting from 4th grade. He also dj'd for the then rapper Positive-K. He attended New York City Technical College in Brooklyn where he majored in Accounting. By age 19 he became a songwriter/ghostwriter and had 29 copywritten songs. He is in Who’s Who in Poetry Around the World and he's a 3 x U.S.A Library of Congress Award Winner for Poetry. He became an Ordained Minister in 2013. along with becoming a Certified MASTER LIFE COACH. Certified in Professional Life Coaching, Goal-setting Coaching, Happiness Life Coaching, and Life Purpose Coaching. Now he is a published author of several books and articles. a motivational speaker, as well as a life coach who specializes in relationship and professional growth development. He is known as
