Hi, I’m Kirstie.

I’m a student living in Soweto, South Africa. I enjoy reading and writing poetry. I am also interested in fashion and the arts and I have a great passion for education.

William Butler Yeats says that ''Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire.'' To know that I have a gift of igniting a flame within each child through education, inspiring them to be a better version of themselves everyday through using their God-given ability to construct and challenge information serves as my best answer for why I chose to be a teacher.
