Kathleen Barry

I'm Kathleen. A North Carolinian at heart, I'm a 20-something discovering more about Washington, DC every day.

From 9-5 (let's not kid; my work day is usually longer than that), I am a healthcare communications professional. I provide disease state awareness and advocacy, social and traditional media strategy, brand communications, health policy counsel and corporate reputation services for clients.

Outside of work: I love and play all sports, spend too much time on Twitter, pine for NC, try lots of different microbrews, pretend I can still speak French, cheer on Tar Heel sports, obsess over music on Spotify, volunteer around DC, read books before I fall asleep and spend time with the many wonderful people in my life- be it family, friends, co-workers or aquaintences.
