Kundan Saun is a passionate musician & soulful performer who takes listeners on a journey through a musical world. He is an upcoming lyricist, composer & singer who can play harmonica & keyboard. His musical inclinations are unusual as it is not restricted to only commercial music but also music on societal development.

With humble beginnings in India as his inspiration, Kundan realized his gift for music at a very young age of 8 and has been honing his craft ever since. Having gotten his big start by winning a competition, he performed his first album at the age of 18 and then making his way to solo shows in early 2010. From Youtube to college dorms, Kundan’s music has become an inescapable force that one can’t help but succumb to. With the help of Youtube & other social networks, he has been able to catch the ears of expansive scope of music lovers. He writes songs with his feelings & emotions and is hugely inspired by past, present, nostalgic moments and people around him. As a musician, it's important to create your own sound, find the right music production and collaborate with like-minded professionals.

Kundan performed at the United Nations First Spouses VIP Reception during the 70th UN General Assembly in New York City which was attended by the First Lady of the United Nations and several First Spouses of Heads of States & governments. He also performed at the UN-HABITAT Side event on Innovation, Technology & Youth. He has recorded two songs in the United Nations Studio.

Recently, he performed an originally composed song on Climate Change and Gender Equality at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP 21 in Paris.

He is also the Global Youth Ambassador for A World at School, appointed by UN Special Envoy for Global Education (former British PM) Gordon Brown & Sarah Brown, to promote global education for all through music. Being a musician and having seen the impact first hand, he believes that music can actually influence someone’s personality & thought process on a certain issue and that’s why he focuses on the term ‘Music for Development’.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and loves football as well as sketching.
