Kayleigh Woods

Born October 3rd 1991 in Taunton, Somerset, England. I moved and lived around the South West of the Country quite a lot as a child but, mainly lived in Taunton and Yeovil, until my mother and myself moved to Co.Down, Northern Ireland, for between 6 to 7 years. On my 12th birthday we moved back to live in Taunton, where I studied for and passed 9 GCSEs with A-C grades. I had my first job at the age of 15, as a waitress on the weekends, I now work for a large, well known clothing store and have done for nearly 3 years. Recently I have been given the role of Visuals with-in the store, meaning I create, dress and maintain the large windows, graphics and mannequins. I am currently searching for a full time job, which I can build into a career. I enjoy working with computers - typing, designing, creating and organising. I pride myself on my people skills, I love to work as part of a team but, I also work excellently as an individual. Once I am a full time employee I aim to pass my driving exam, move into my own rented property and possibly obtain further qualifications through night courses or on-line courses. I also aim, to one day, pay a second visit to South Africa to do further volunteer work - I took part in a large group visit, through a charity called Outpost in 2008 to volunteer at a school where the majority of pupils were orphaned and/or suffered from Aids. I wish to par-take in an activity like this again as the experience changed me and my outlook on life, it was a huge reward being able to see the smiles on the faces of the children who's lives we were helping to make better. It was definitely the best part of my life, so far. I am a very lively, out-going, bubbly and friendly person, I adore spending time with my partner, family and friends. Like most young women I have a minor addiction to shopping and am a sucker for a cute animal or child. I see myself as a creative person I love to decorate my room with photographs, canvas' and old t-shirts that represent amazing moments of my life. I am a strong believer in the expression "Tomorrow is never promised" and I try to live each of my days well, happy and positive. You only live once so there is no time for regrets. I stay true to who and what I am. This is just a brief insight to my life and myself, I am a woman of many chapters and I have plenty more to come....
