I am a marketing and communications professional currently working for a manufacturing company, Rosler Metal Finishing USA, in Battle Creek, Michigan.

In my current position, I am the manager of the marketing department, enabling me to gain experience in many aspects of the "marketing mix". I feel that my strongest skills are copy writing and editing, online content creation and management - including website design and curation, social media strategy and development, search engine optimization, and e-bulletin creation - and internal/external corporate communications. I also have experience in advertisement design and campaign development, trade show management, and newsletter design, all of which I enjoy as well.

My job has also given me the opportunity to travel abroad and learn the intricacies of international relations.

Personal
When I'm not at my desk, you'll find me playing with my Corgi puppy, Oakley, horseback riding, spending time with my family, running, snowboarding or participating in community events. I am also a member of the Kalamazoo Business Book Club and the Kalamazoo chapter of Toastmasters International.

In particular, I enjoy volunteering my time to local non-profit organizations. I assist program leaders at Recovery International with the details of their strategic marketing and outreach programs. I also visit the campus at Grand Valley State University and talk to students about professional development topics, including leadership development, networking tips and personal branding strategies, through their Career Mentoring Program. In the summer, my spare time is spent volunteering with the Eaton County 4-H Horse Program.
