We develop a lot of software and IT solutions, but how do we educate the users?
My focus is the usability, design and education of the software.
Right now people tend to use traditional educational tools that we know and have worked for many years. But since the users are getting more familiar with IT and the systems usability are getting better, the teaching and education should not focus on how the user use the system, but how the user understand and navigate in the system.
It's daring to change the methods, but we have to, because we can do much better.
Ever been at a course where the teacher/educator kept showing the right way to use the system and in that moment it made sense, but when you came home you couldn't remember half of it?

I'm not redesigning the education system, I'm just trying to put it into order and bring back the focus on teaching by focusing on the problems and not the solutions. Because we tend to make education very complex and take as granted that the users already know what problems the IT-system is the solution for. But often they don't know, just the procedure in the system.

Let's focus on the education, when we already use lots of money on new systems.
