Joshua Kapelman

Prior to joining, Joshua had extensive experience in entrepreneurship, finance, and sales. Hilldun, known as the company behind many of Seventh Avenue's prestigious fashion brands, has provided entrepreneurial financing and factoring for many of America's iconic designer labels.

Joshua also is a member of the Fashion Services Network, which was founded to meet the fashion industry's overwhelming need for innovation and multi-disciplinary approaches. Made of up of twenty of New York's leading service providers, the Fashion Service Network, a group of experienced and seasoned professionals, delivers solutions and opportunities to the industry. Joshua has also served as a speaker and judge at a number of conferences, most recently serving as judge at the Fashioning Our Industry pitch competition.

Prior to the age of 20, Joshua launched two different ventures in the technology sector, a server company and a media company. The latter, under the umbrella of Defiance Media, served millions of computer gamers in the early 2000s, providing a place where computer gamers could compete across the internet. Joshua worked with an angel investment group out of Massachusetts as well as with a venture capital firm. Joshua is an EMT and taught for several years at Tufts University, Boston University and Harvard. Joshua was raised in New York and earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Tufts University. He remains active with Tufts University's Entrepreneurial Leadership Program where he sits on its Board of Advisors.
