My name is Kara I am a wife to my wonderful and supportive husband (2010) and mother to a an energetic, opinionated little girl (2012). The three of us live in the ever-growing and thriving Oklahoma City. We are passionate about local and embrace a low-impact and eco-friendly lifestyle.

I am a former High School teacher and researcher. I own and publish on ALLterNATIVElearning as well as write freelance curriculum for home school families, run, teach my own child, garden, paint, and enjoy life.

As a Christian, faith is an important part of my life. It is my life, my parenting style, and my marriage. In our home, we strive to live by the spirit and to respect the world that God created.
