Collins Karithi is a focused Kenyan diplomat with experience in cross-cutting areas of bilateral, multilateral, and economic diplomacy. He leverages deep knowledge of Kenya’s Foreign Service—from the Office of the Special Envoy on Technology and UN Multilateral Affairs–Climate Change Unit to the Economic Affairs and Liaison Parliamentary Directorates—to translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes. His portfolio spans high-level Kenya–China engagement, AI and digital governance (including contributions to Kenya’s Diplomatic AI Playbook and AI Strategy), and coordination of flagship forums such as UNEA, the Oceans Conference, COP27/28, and the Africa Climate Summit—underpinned by sharp analysis, disciplined coordination, and pragmatic negotiation.

He currently serves at the Embassy of Kenya in Beijing as a Second Secretary (political), supporting Kenya–China relations, high-level visits, and investment opportunities.
