I finally ventured out into shallow water of the blogging world by simply creating my about.me account, but creating a bio was not as simple. I had to ponder, "Who am I, really?" Not to mention struggling to keep the annoying perfectionism that stalks me every now and then when I start something brand new.

Who I was 20 Years Ago: Believer in Jesus. Mother of three, who was blessed to stay home to raise my children until they each were in pre-school. Driven, Type-A, almost-neurotic personality who was overly-involved in way too many things.

Who I was 10 Years Ago: Believer n Jesus. Late-blooming college grad. Sports Mom juggling full-time job and college coursework. Still too obsessively driven, but always yearning to continue to grow spiritually.

Who I was when I started this blog in 2015: Believer in Jesus. Recent empty-nester seeking God's next assignment for me. Half of a 32-year marriage partnership that is finally on-the-mend-to-healing thanks to an upcoming ADHD & Marriage seminar. Proud mom of three terrific children -- all accomplished college grads -- but I pray continuously for their healing from growing up in a crazy household with a perfectionist vs ADHD parent dynamic. :/ Boldly resigned from a job I loved because of strong conviction. Still employed as a temp while many of my peers (including my husband) are retired, but praying and looking for that next fulfilling job. Recovering perfectionist learning to embrace God's grace, live in the moment and truly love life.

Who I am today: Believer in Jesus. Finally, on February 5, 2020, became a grandmother to Lane Joseph! Retired and working part-time after making a major life changing move from Stockton, California to Tecumseh, Oklahoma to follow our grandson. Continuing to seek God and fulfill His good plans for me.
