Kate Patterson

I'm currently working on a 3D animation project at the Garvan Institute under the Inspiring Australia umbrella which aims to create a more scientifically engaged Australia.

I used to work as a veterinarian before embarking on a PhD adventure in human cancer research and molecular biology. I got hooked on the buzz of communicating science and am so excited to be contributing to a space where science and creativity collide.

I love working with scientists, veterinarians and medical professionals to communicate science. Together we make great posters, graphics, press releases, grants, illustrations, animations and presentations for varied audiences.
