Kate Rigot
I'm a masters student in urban and regional planning at the University of Colorado Denver.
I have a wide-ranging academic background - in geography, anthropology, psychology, environmental science, journalism, nutrition and culinary arts, food/agriculture studies, and design, among others - and an equally diverse professional background, having worked as a tax preparer, bookkeeper, writer and editor, community organizer, and research assistant.
I seek to draw on my interdisciplinary background to further my education in urban planning, while making my city and the world a better place to live.
Things I'm passionate about: food, music, maps, places, cities, nature, design, bikes, dance, plants, languages, color, and crafts. I never stop learning, questioning, geeking out, and searching out all the weird and wonderful things in the world.
