Kathryn Marshallis a versatile lawyer with strong litigation and court room experience.

She is an experienced communicator, researcher and writer with a track record in advocacy. She founded the Canadian law websiteLawsome.ca, which covers a variety of legal industry topics, from legal tech to social media tips for lawyers. Her columns on law and public affairs have appeared in Canadian Lawyer, Law Times,Reuters TrustLaw, Toronto Star and numerous other publications. Formerly, she was the Civic Affairs columnist for 24 Hours Vancouver and has contributed to the Huffington Post.

Kathryn Marshall as been quoted in national publications such as the National Post and Maclean’s Magazine. She has also appeared as a commentator on various public affairs programs, and has provided testimony on several occasions before a House of Commons Committee concerning new government legislation with respect to the protection of women and girls from exploitation and violence.

Prior to commencing her legal career, Kathryn Marshall worked for two senior Federal Cabinet Ministers, spearheaded a national NGO and worked for a leading public policy think tank.
