Kathryn Norris holds an MBA in marketing and has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality management industry. Previously, she was a corporate social media and communications consultant, as well as the president and founder of Peach Promotions. Kathryn ran for the Florida Keys Mosquito Control Board in 2016 and has comprehensive knowledge about legislative policies and practices both locally and regionally, and in 2020 served as the Director of Communications for Representative Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.

After running for Mosquito Control in 2016, Kathryn was dedicated to focusing her energy with the Florida Keys Democrats while working as a Substitute teacher for the Monroe County School System and being a mentor with Take Stock in Children. She was also a leader in the FL Keys Women’s Movement, co-chair at the Key West Woman's Club, member of the League of Women Voters, ACLU, NOW, and creator of the Florida Keys Indivisibles. Kathryn has also served on the Monroe County Library Board and the Key West City Contractors Board. Kathryn is currently the Patient Services Director at Norris Healthcare Concierge, which she opened with her husband in 2022. Kathryn moved to Key West in 2008 and since 2015 shares a home in Key Haven, Florida with her Husband Dr. John Norris III, two daughters (Kiki and Katie), and their dog Benji the Yorkie, from the Fl Keys SPCA.
