Katonya Hughey

A senior vice president and senior retirement plan consultant with People's United Bank in Hartford, Connecticut, Katonya Hughey builds upon years of experience as a sales professional and project manager with multiple companies and organizations. Her areas of expertise include budgeting, strategic planning, training, marketing, change management, and the design of operational infrastructure. Katonya Hughey has also served as a director of defined-benefit-relations management with Prudential Retirement and as a client-relations manager with Aetna Financial Services/ING.

When she isn’t working, Katonya Hughey enjoys playing golf, dancing, and watching films. She is also an avid amateur writer. In an effort to give back to the community, she sits on the board of managers of the MI Network, an organization that promotes personal and professional development among minorities. Ms. Hughey also serves as a board member of the Farmington River Watershed Association, a nonprofit group that fights to protect the environment along the Farmington River.
