Katy Learning Center

A specialized provider of behavior therapy services, Katy Learning Center is located at 24811 Westheimer Parkway on the southeast side of Katy, Texas. It serves clients throughout the greater Houston area from this convenient location, offering therapeutic programs that address the specific social and academic challenges of children with autism, Asperger's syndrome, attention deficit disorder, hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and other cognitive and/or behavioral conditions that affect their scholarly endeavors. Programs supported by the Katy Learning Center range from comprehensive applied behavioral analysis therapy sessions to the Interactive Metronome music therapy program and the Handwriting Without Tears handwriting improvement program.

An experienced early childhood educator with significant postsecondary training in special education, owner Laura Gore founded the organization to find out-of-the-box solutions to common problems. As the mother of a child on the autism spectrum, she also has firsthand and highly personal experience with the trials and tribulations commonly associated with the condition.
