Keith Malone

I often describe myself as a do-gooder at heart. While I have worked in politics from time to time, my heart is in the nonprofit arena. I have been drawn to organizations with unique and compelling missions, many of which have been start ups or organizations going through growth spurts and transitions. My background is in public relations, helping organizations communicate and interact with their stakeholders in meaningful ways that help them strengthen and build lasting relationships. I have worked with nonprofit health care, HIV/AIDS, preschool, environmental and social services organizations, many of which serve the diversity of Los Angeles County. When I'm not trying to save the world, I'm passionately working to save the California landscape by gardening exclusively with native plants. Lastly, I am a third-generation Angeleno - my family has been in Los Angeles since 1913.
